Position Summary
We are looking for a Marketing Manager, Ice Cream - Vitality to help shape the growth of ice cream within the ‘Better For You’ (BFY) Category. This position is based at our North York Office reporting into the Marketing Director, Ice Cream. This role will lead significant growth of the business with platform Innovation & Renovation over the course of the MBS. In 2025 this role will lead the iÖGO Brand Frozen Yogurt launch, including significant communication, media and in-store execution! This is a fantastic opportunity to chart the future of BFY Ice Cream; plan, develop and execute marketing plans to continue the growth in this highly attractive and incremental consumer demand moment.

A day in the life of an Ice Cream – Vitality, Marketing Manager
This role is a great opportunity to lead the brand strategy and execution to bring growth to the ice cream category by expanding our leadership position in ‘Better For You’ ice cream – currently planned within Frozen Yogurt and Fruit. There is opportunity to chart the future pipeline of our current and future brands within this space. You will be working daily with cross-functional teams, including local factory teams and Co-man/IMS Partners, to make your plans come to life with lots of autonomy and support to really thrive.
You will also:
- Lead and support the development of aligned marketing strategies and plans for Frozen Yogurt, Fruit and future BFY platforms in Canada, in line with Global strategy.
- Lead and coach a high performing team, actively communicating expectations and providing regular feedback. Work with each team member to build appropriate development plans and ensure that the training activities achieve agreed upon objectives.
- Leverage key consumer/customers insights to develop strategies that build competitive advantage across the 4Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) across multiple segments and channels.
- Build BFY brands currently within portfolio in ice Cream (including but not limited to licenced brands iÖGO Frozen Yogurt, Del Monte Fruit) and effectively translate consumer insights into action.
- Responsible for creating compelling communication and effective media strategies.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of a 3-5 year I&R plan, that is consumer, technically, and financially validated, with accountability for the outcome and quality of each launch.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with Global stakeholders, Licence Partners and local Cross Functional teams especially Sales, Demand and Supply, Local factory and Finance.
- Accountable for the P&L. Managing internal and external changes impacting plans and budgets.
- Accountable for improving the Return on Investment and spend accuracy year over year.
What will make you successful?
As the successful candidate, you will be the champion for the portfolio throughout the organization so you will need to be a creative thinker who can balance strategic thinking and executional impact with excellent planning, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. You will already have great project management and analytical skills coupled with your highly organised, conscientious approach. Proactivity, tenacity and passion and enthusiasm are essential, as is your ability to understand and work within our competitive market.
You will also have:
- Visionary, decisive and analytical nature with the ability to drive business results at the strategic and executional levels.
- Minimum 3-5 years of successful brand/product management experience. CPG experience is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of commercialization process within CPG with ability to leverage Nestlé processes, resources and environment.
- Strong strategy development, creative problem-solving and insight skills.
- Strong financial acumen and demonstrated P&L management.
- Previous people management experience is strongly preferred.
- Self-motivated, results-focused with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Agile and able to pivot in a fast-paced dynamic and matrix environment.
- Passion to build and grow brands, with ‘can-do’ attitude and the courage to challenge the status quo.
- Proficient computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other MS applications.
- University degree in Business or Marketing, and or equivalent combination of education and experience.
