Position: Independent Contractor - Satellite Installer
Location: Nationwide - Work anywhere in the Canada
What You'll Do:
- π Install satellite internet systems at customer locations
- π°οΈ Mount satellite dishes on roofs or other suitable spots
- π§ Run cables and connect equipment for perfect signal reception
- π‘ Configure and program satellite receivers
- π οΈ Test and troubleshoot to ensure everything's working smoothly
- π¬ Provide top-notch customer service and answer questions
- π Educate customers on using their new satellite systems
What You Need:
- π‘ Strong knowledge of telecom systems and equipment
- π Experience with fiber splicing and low voltage cabling
- π οΈ Skilled with hand tools and network installation (Cisco routers a plus!)
- 𧩠Excellent problem-solving skills
- π£οΈ Great communication abilities
- π€ Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- π οΈ Previous experience as a service technician is a bonus

Requirements
- Ladder capable of 3 stories
- Tools for facilitating a starlink install
- Ability to climb on roofs
- Carry your own liability insurance
- Be authorized to work in Canada (W-8BEN form may be required for tax purposes when working with U.S. companies)
