Our client, a leading resource management consulting firm, is seeking a dynamic Project Coordinator to join their team team in Toronto.
This high-impact position will be supporting scientists and global industry experts engaged in technical projects. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless administration, coordination, and compliance across various initiatives.
If you have 5+ years of experience in senior-level administrative and project support within the mining, oil and gas, and/or natural resources industries, exceptional communication skills, and thrive in fast-paced and collaborative environments, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Support business unit operations by organizing meetings, tracking workloads, and maintaining project schedules and reports.
- Assist with proposal development, ensuring completeness, compliance, and accurate financial tracking.
- Manage contract administration, ensuring proper execution, compliance, and documentation.
- Act as a client liaison, handling inquiries and maintaining professional communication.
- Prepare, proofread, and format reports, presentations, and correspondence according to company standards.
- Ensure health and safety (H&S) compliance by coordinating training, risk management, and required documentation.
- Provide HR and administrative support, including onboarding assistance, resume screening, and professional membership renewals.
Qualifications:
- 5–7+ years of senior-level administrative experience within the mining, engineering, oil & gas, or natural resources management industries.
- Proven expertise in document control, proposal management, contract support, client relations, and quality management systems (QMS).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including strong editing and proofreading abilities.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking and prioritizing in fast-paced environments.
- Highly proactive, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team setting.
