The Position
The Health Care Foundation is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide dedicated administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Executive Team, and Board of Directors. This position requires exceptional organizational abilities, discretion, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage correspondence on behalf of the CEO, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and appropriate supporting information.
- Coordinate and maintain the CEO’s calendar, scheduling and adjusting meetings as needed.
- Maintain an organized and efficient records management system.
- Attend meetings to take minutes, prepare reports, and track action items.
- Develop high-quality reports, presentations, and documentation with a keen attention to detail and strong commitment to confidentiality.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business administration, executive support, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in executive support, preferably within a non-profit organization.
- Experience providing administrative support to a Board of Directors is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge is considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities in a dynamic setting.
