Summary of responsibilities:
The Analyst, Learning Systems and Support supports all activities related to the administration, management, and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS, the X-Ray Tutor (XRT), and the CATSA User Portal (CUP).
What you need to succeed
To qualify for the position, you must have:
- Successful completion of a college diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Information Management/Technology, or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
- A minimum of two (2) years of technical and business experience on learning systems, troubleshooting issues, conducting software usability testing and documenting findings.
- A minimum of (1) year of experience collaborating with users on learning system issues.

Valuable skills include:
- Knowledge of relational databases, and Relational Database Management Systems (RDMSs), for example Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, and corresponding reporting tools, such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI Report Builder, and Power BI Desktop.
- Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Experience building and generating ad hoc and static reports.
- Knowledge of the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority's (CATSA) mandate, its operating environment, and interrelationships with other government and industry stakeholders.
Specific work requirements:
- Ability to work overtime as required;
- Ability to travel as required
- Language Profile: English essential;
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; and
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
