What Makes This Role Great:- High Impact Leadership & Scope of Responsibility: You will oversee the success of Business Development, Marketing, and Customer Success functions, leading a team of 6 direct reports and 17 total members. In this high-impact role, you will own our land and expand strategy, driving growth within existing accounts and identifying new market opportunities. Your leadership will ensure alignment and drive revenue growth, leveraging Revenue Operations to optimize processes and performance
- Sales & Marketing Alignment: You will have the ability to ensure seamless collaboration across all revenue functions, including Revenue Operations, with shared KPIs, a well-defined lead handoff process, and a curated customer journey that fosters loyalty and drives revenue. Additionally, you will represent the voice of our customers, ensuring their needs and feedback are integrated into our strategies. Your efforts will create a cohesive and efficient team environment, contributing to the overall success of the organization

Key Responsibilities:- Lead revenue growth strategy through new customer acquisition, new lines of business, partnerships, and growth within existing accounts
- Oversee the success of Business Development, Marketing, and Customer Success, managing 6 direct reports and a total of 17 team members
- Own the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies &process, with a focus on driving growth across Canada and the US
- Lead sales forecasting, revenue planning, and P&L management for your departments
- Foster strong, data-driven decision-making to track performance, refine strategies, and adjust tactics as needed
- Build a high-performing, cross-functional team with aligned goals and a focus on customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction
- As an experienced leader, we’ll expect you’ll have a few high performers you’ll want to bring with you into the business
- Drive brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all touchpoints and communications
- Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure strategic alignment with business goals, contributing to long-term growth and sustainability
- Leverage market research to stay ahead of trends, competitors, and customer needs, adjusting sales and marketing approaches accordingly
- Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and partners, strengthening Rodan’s position in the market
- Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert, representing Rodan at industry events and in the media to share insights on best practices, market trends, and innovations in the energy management sector
Required Skills and Qualifications:- 15+ years of sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in managing both sales and marketing teams
- Experience in energy management or related industries is preferred, but we’re open to leaders with strong revenue growth experience in technical industries, with a commitment and ability to develop deep expertise in our domain, as it will be critical to your success
- An understanding of North American electricity markets, particularly in distributed energy resources (DER), demand response, energy intelligence, and metering solutions
- Experience managing cross-border teams, with a strategic vision and hands-on execution approach
- Expertise in P&L responsibility, sales forecasting, and revenue planning
- Ability to create and lead sales enablement and customer retention strategies
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior executives and external stakeholders
- A data-driven approach to decision-making, with experience using CRM systems, analytics tools, and automation platforms
- Demonstrated ability to scale businesses and lead digital transformation in sales and marketing functions
- A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to align teams around shared goals and KPIs
