Shared Services Manager (AR/AP – Deductions Focus)
Focus: AR deductions, disputes, and team leadership
We’re hiring a Shared Services Manager to lead AR/AP in a high-volume environment with complex deductions and disputes.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands AR deductions, disputes, and operational execution — not just oversight.
Location: Mississauga, ON (On-site)
This role operates in a high-volume, deduction-heavy environment requiring strong problem-solving and ownership.
What You’ll Own
- Lead Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
- Oversee complex AR processes, including deductions and disputes
- Resolve pricing discrepancies and customer claims
- Ensure accurate billing, collections, and vendor payments
- Lead and develop a lean AR/AP team (~3 people)
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency
- Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
- Step into escalations and complex cases when required
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years experience in shared services, AR/AP leadership
- Strong experience with AR deductions, disputes, and chargebacks
- Proven team leadership experience (small team environment)
- Hands-on approach — comfortable operating in the details
- Strong Excel and ERP system experience
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, on-site environment
This role is not suited to candidates with only AP exposure or purely reporting-focused backgrounds
Nice to Have
- Experience in consumer goods, manufacturing, or trade-heavy industries
- Exposure to high-volume transactional environments
- CPA, CMA, or similar designation
