The Role
Our team at Richcraft is looking for a visionary Graphic Designer at the cutting edge of design trends and innovation.
About You
You hit the ground running with your experience and expertise in branding, print, environmental and digital design (including user experience.)
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and as a member of the marketing team, you are responsible for delivering on our branding, graphic design and UX promises. You are viewed by peers as a trusted, responsive, and reliable resource, confidently able to answer creative and some technical questions.
In This Role, You Will:
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and produce flawless and effective marketing materials.
- Ensure creative and adaptive content while maintaining the integrity of Richcraft’s brand by ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Design graphic layouts for print, web, email, and other promotional materials.
- Create interactive and on-brand designs for digital platforms such as websites, touchscreens, emails, mobile apps, and social media.
- Develop artwork and layouts for various marketing communication materials including e-blasts, signage, and event collateral.
- Update and maintain touchscreens, WordPress websites and content as needed.
- Brainstorm, conceptualize, and develop a variety of strategic and creative products, including branding, websites, digital ads, and more.
- Liaise with the Director of Marketing and internal resources such as sales, construction, and property management to understand project requirements.
- Own assigned projects from concept to delivery.
- Apply strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to tasks.
- Provide accurate project delivery time estimates, communicate expectations to team members, and set workload priorities to meet deadlines effectively.
- Recommend print applications, select promotional items, and plan brochures, signage, and websites.
- Prepare design files for production and delivery.
- Organize and maintain design assets according to department processes.
- Continuously explore new creative ideas and improve skills.
- Maintain a professional attitude and foster a positive environment for peers.
- Additional duties as required.
What You Bring:
- Post-secondary education in a related field and/or a sufficient combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a graphic designer
- Experienced (and skilled at) working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Viewed by peers as a trusted, responsive, solutions-oriented, and reliable resource confidently able to answer some technical questions.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, simultaneous priorities.
- Understanding of design principles and applications (print, digital/UX, environmental).
- Understanding of custom website design and Wordpress.
- Experience (and prowess) with common design software including Figma, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, plus the ability to learn new software and platforms, as required. A basic understanding of CSS and HTML is a must.
- The flexibility to take on new challenges: software, social media, design trends, etc.
- An eye for detail and the ability to speak your mind.
- Valid driver’s license and access to vehicle preferred.
Salary: $60,000 annually
