Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ottawa, ON. As an Assistant Site Supervisor, you will assist in coordinating and overseeing construction site activities to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, monitoring project progress, maintaining site health and safety compliance, and communicating effectively with project stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Site Supervisor to ensure project success and address any onsite challenges promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction management, site supervision, or related roles
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to coordinate subcontractors and teams
- Knowledge of safety regulations and construction site compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders
- Ability to manage schedules and monitoring project progress
- Familiarity with construction practices, processes, and equipment
- Proficiency with project management software and tools
- Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to the Mississauga site
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience in ICI construction projects is an asset
