Responsibilities:
- Answer client queries and provide the appropriate information when requested
- Record all client interactions using CRM
- Coordinate schedules and appointments for the lead agent
- Manage office correspondence, emails, and phone calls
- Prepare and maintain documents, reports, and presentations
- Organize and maintain filing systems
- Assist in the planning and execution of meetings and events
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience working within regulated financial services industry as Admin/Sales Assistant to Investment Advisors
- CIRO Licensed (IR or RR) Mandatory
- Trade execution experience
- Knowledge of industry regulatory rules, relevant legislation and requirements and keeping up with systems and regulatory changes
- Understands the importance of Compliance with established operating procedures and protocols
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills when interacting with clients and internal colleagues
- Proactive, confident, and professional approach to problem-solving, at times with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented with advanced knowledge of administrative functions and procedures
- Takes ownership of tasks and consistently shows initiative in finding solutions
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook), Internet Explorer, and contact management software
Skills & Qualifications:
- Licensed as an Investment Representative (IR) or Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO), and a well-rounded knowledge of the securities industry
- 3+ years of experience working in Wealth Management and managing client relationships and assets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, take initiatives and multi-task
- Ability to work independently, and effectively with employees and clients at all levels
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills: good working knowledge of MS Office programs; acts as a positive team-player – trustworthy, capable, and reliable
- Experience with Dataphile and Croesus would be an asset
Salary Range: BC (based on Education, Work Experience, etc.) $55,000-65,000 in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
