Join our team as a Technologist in the Diphtheria/Tetanus (D/T) Fermentation department on a rewarding fixed term contract. Major Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed calculations for adsorption of purified concentrates and handle the adsorption, dispensing, and documentation of adsorbed antigens.
Oversee the completion and verification of Adsorption and Dispensing BPRs.
Prepare and sample EM as outlined by SOP. Monitor and perform EM as required per product, per week, bi-weekly, per month.
Perform sampling of bulk intermediates and concentrates using aseptic techniques and tube welder technology, while managing LIMS applications, labels, test samples, and Kjeldahl sample preparations.
Maintain reference and official reserve samples, and accurately enter samples into logbooks.
Support daily and weekly production planning with management and area TGL, including SAP transactions, confirmations, BPR order requests, scheduling, and ensuring 98% accuracy in cycle counts and on-time material confirmations and transfers.

About You:

Minimum of three years with a Community College Diploma in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Specialty Technologist Programs, plus at least eighteen months of relevant work experience.
Preferred four-year bachelor’s degree in sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Microbiology, or General Science) with a minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
Strong knowledge of Microbiology and Aseptic Processing techniques.
Familiarity with equipment such as Sterile Filters/Filter Equipment, Integrity Tester, MAS Air Sampler, Met One Particle Counter, Tube Welder/Sealer, and Tachometer.
Excellent communication skills for interdepartmental collaboration, with proficiency in writing SOPs, SWIs, and CCRs, and strong organizational, planning, and computer skills, including experience with SAP and LIMS.

Hours Of Work:

Inclusive from Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
