Why this role is important Our Analytics department (Payment Decision Support) is at the forefront of transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across our organization. The Data Visualization and Insights role be pivotal in enhancing our understanding of data, embedding analytics into everyday decisions through the development of data products, and supporting our mission to identify growth opportunities for the bank’s retail credit and debit products. What you will do: Utilize Tableau to discover and present performance insights and characteristics, focusing on leveraging pre-made Tableau cubes. Ability to navigate and understand Google Cloud/Google BigQuery data sets Strong ability to connect different data sources together using SQL and SAS Strong coding background – SQL and Python are a must. Special consideration will be given to candidates with Pyspark experience Provide high quality data products to different stakeholders based on their requirements Create compelling charts, graphs, and dashboards to communicate data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Help Senior Manager develop engaging storylines based on insights and craft PowerPoint presentations for Director and VP-level audiences in departments such as Marketing, Product, and Finance. Collaborate with a team of computer scientists and data engineers to extract and transform data, supporting your storytelling efforts. Foster strong relationships with analysts across various departments, ensuring effective communication and engagement. Drive the integration of analytics into daily decision-making processes, promoting a culture of data-driven insights throughout the organization. What you bring: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, Engineering, Data Science or a related field. Strong to expert knowledge of Tableau, with the ability to build insightful dashboards. Working knowledge of data engineering processes and principles. Experience in guiding a team to support data extraction and transformation for effective storytelling. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex data insights to a non-technical audience. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with business leaders and executives, aligning analytics efforts with their needs. Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for data-driven storytelling. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to the evolving needs of different departments.
