Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity As the Senior Consultant, SMB Product Strategy, you will think creatively about Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMB) product strategy and commercialization to drive the strategic direction, go-to-market, and oversight of the product portfolio. You will collaborate and influence with business leaders to identify strategic issues, growth opportunities, providing expertise and industry insights, while ensuring focus on product management across the portfolio. You will use your unique experience to develop data-driven insights to enable the SMB Product team to provide business solutions for the future while influencing senior stakeholders across the organization to execute the strategy that you created. Further, through your marketing, pricing, bank relationships, and go-to-market strategy experience, you will ensure the successful commercialization of our products. Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model. Reporting Relationship: You will report to our Vice President, Product - Small to Medium Business (SMB). Your Moneris Career - What you'll do Strategy development and execution: Accountable for the creation and successful executing the product strategy, including market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and identification of growth opportunities Senior Stakeholder Management: Own and accountable for influencing and persuading key internal senior stakeholders and external bank partner executives to execute the strategy and allocate resources based on the required direction Product Marketing and Pricing: Identifying how products will be launched in market and partner with the internal Marketing and Finance teams to finalize overall marketing, go-to-market strategies, and pricing Product Management: Lead the coordination of product governance for the team during all stages of product development, from ideation to launch External Representation: represent the group and company at tradeshows (e.g., Money2020), conferences, and industry events (e.g., Elevate), publicly presenting the mission and goals of the Product team in front of external stakeholders Data Analysis & Reporting: Work with stakeholders to analyze and present data to inform decision-making and track progress against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) People Leadership: informal non-people management leadership in the short-term but developing into a people leader in the medium-term as analysts are onboarded Your Moneris Career - What you bring Bachelor and/or Masters degree in Business, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of experience in strategy, marketing, and/or product management preferably in the payments or fintech industry Proven experience commercializing products, including marketing, pricing, and got-to-market strategy Proven ability to persuade senior leadership to change direction and garner buy-in Demonstrated experience developing and delivering presentations to executives, partners and a senior level audience Strong business and financial acumen with experience identifying opportunities and recommending solutions to complex issues Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal) Passion for supporting small and medium-sized businesses and understanding their unique challenges Nice-to-have...
