Position Overview:
Botsford is seeking a Project Manager to support a major Pension Plan transformation initiative. The role will focus on managing key projects to improve processes, systems, and technology across Front, Middle, and Back Office functions. The Project Manager will collaborate with senior stakeholders to define and deliver project objectives, ensuring alignment with business and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior stakeholders to define transformation objectives, aligning them with organizational goals. Serve as the primary liaison between operational teams and the Transformation Office.
- Requirements & Process Mapping: Lead workshops to capture business requirements, user stories, and document existing processes, technology, and data flows. Redesign processes to align with new system capabilities.
- Project Planning & Execution: Contribute to detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Prioritize business requirements in alignment with key project milestones.
- Systems & Process Testing: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure new systems meet business requirements. Support testing and defect management.
- Change & Training Management: Partner with Change Management to design and execute strategies for smooth adoption of new systems. Support training initiatives and ensure teams are prepared.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to resolve issues promptly.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback post-implementation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7-9 years of experience in managing large programs or transformations in the Financial Services industry, specifically with Pension Plans.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related fields.
- Skills: Strong project management skills with experience in process redesign, system implementations, and stakeholder management.
- Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with investment applications (e.g., Eagle, Calypso, Bloomberg) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake).
- Certifications: Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or Change Management certifications are a plus.
- Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior business, technology, and control stakeholders.
