About the Role:
Reporting to the Associate Director of PMO, the Project Coordinator is a key member of our Professional Services Organization. You will play a critical role in supporting the planning, implementation, and delivery of software solutions for our clients. This is an entry-level position where you will assist in coordinating project activities, resources, and communication while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
A Day in the Life:
- Support the planning, implementation, and closure of projects under the guidance of senior staff.
- Define project goals, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with the team.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, such as charters, RAID logs, and status reports.
- Develop and monitor project timelines and resource allocation.
- Facilitate communication within the project team and with clients, including scheduling meetings and providing updates.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks and managing change requests.
- Gain proficiency in AlayaCare's project management methodologies and best practices.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling and compiling reports, to support project delivery.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Internship or work experience in project management or a related field (beneficial but not required).
- Interest in or currently pursuing project management certifications, such as PMP or CAPM.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Goal-oriented with keen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and proactively contribute to initiatives.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support project needs.
Location and Travel Requirements:
AlayaCare supports a flexible hybrid working model, expecting that our employees have a regular in-office presence at their closest office location while offering flexibility for some remote work. The preferred candidate location for this position is Toronto, Canada, with occasional travel requirements.
