The Project Manager (PM) at Sparta Manufacturing is a key member of the project management team, responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects from design through to completion. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The PM leverages strong organizational skills, project management expertise, and effective communication to coordinate all project activities, ensuring successful outcomes that align with the company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of project management, from design through completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Act as the central point of contact between clients, team members, and senior management, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components required for project completion.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that client expectations are met and exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
- Regularly report project status, risks, and issues to the Director of Engineering and PMO when needed.
- Manage the testing and commissioning of recycling systems, ensuring that they meet client specifications and quality standards.
- Train operators on new equipment, ensuring they are fully equipped to operate and maintain the systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or engineering or College Diploma (preferably Engineering Technology) or equivalent experience.
- PMP or other relevant project management certification would be an asset.
- 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction or industrial manufacturing sector.
- Willingness to travel throughout North America to manage project installations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the recycling or construction industry is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, clients, and suppliers.
- Fluent in French and English.
Compensation:
- Salary ranges from $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 depending on experience
- 3 weeks paid vacation
