Are you a skilled Financial Analyst looking for an exciting contract opportunity with an excellent company? We are seeking a talented professional to join our team immediately for a hybrid project in the heart of downtown Vancouver.
Position Summary:
Reporting into the CFO, the Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing expert analysis and insights to support our business needs. This contract position offers the flexibility of hybrid work, combining the convenience of partially remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough financial analysis to support business strategy and decision-making
- Preparing accurate financial reports and statements
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
- developing a comprehensive inventory of the equipment, services and support
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with costing analysis, financial modelling, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Good understanding of management accounting concepts in general (e.g., cost drivers, fixed vs variable costs, amortization)
- Ability to work independently, problem solve, take initiative
