The Opportunity
Under
Sunwing Vacations, we are looking for a
Junior Analyst, FP&A to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Junior Analyst, FP&A you will support the Cargo team with foundational processes, including monthly forecasts and annual budgets. You will conduct forward-looking financial and operational analyses to support various projects and strategic initiatives, communicating the findings to Executive stakeholders. Junior Analysts will be expected to mentor peers, perform reviews, and work on more complex analyses and portfolios. The position reports to the
Senior Director, Financial Analysis & Reporting and will be located in
Toronto, ON.
What You’ll Do
- Prime on Daily and Weekly margin checking to identify abnormality
- Assist in preparation and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly trading reports for Tour Operator and Retail divisions.
- Prim on invoice reconciliation
- Streamline tasks and suggestions on automating manual tasks
- Other ad hoc project as required
What You’ll Need
- University Degree in Business Administration or Commerce or Computer Science
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (especially Excel & MS Access)
- Ability to assimilate/ summarize a large amount of information from multiple sources and present in a value-added form.
- Effective team player.
- Attention to details
- Achievement oriented; must be able to juggle multiple tasks, tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable when dealing with change.
