Challenges We Offer
Reporting to the Production/ Maintenance Manager, your duties include:
- Contribute to the efficient and timely installation, maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities to minimize production downtime;
- Maintain records of all equipment, including repair and maintenance history of such equipment;
- Perform preventative maintenance according to an established schedule;
- Recommend improvements that may increase plant efficiency and/or contribute to increased employee or facility safety;
- Actively participate in health and safety programs and committees to ensure compliance with company fire, safety and security policies.

YOU FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and how to apply them in a working environment;
- You have production maintenance experience, preferably in a feed mill;
- You have experience with welding, low pressure boilers and a mechanical background would be an asset;
- Ability to use a wide variety of hand tools effectively for repairs and maintenance;
- You are a great team player.
