Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with suppliers and supply chain while performing all duties and responsibilities within established procedures and standard of ethical conduct
- Understand key areas such as cost, key business drivers, and opportunities for business process optimization
- Perform the purchasing functions including preparation of supply agreement drafts and documents. Perform supplier performance reviews with coworkers utilizing the standard supplier evaluation tools and report supplier performance to management as required
- Document and keep current supply agreements through use of the standard supply contract; ensure internal and supplier compliance to JD Irving expectations; provide monthly reporting as required
- Identify and drive savings opportunities
Qualifications
- University Degree
- 2-5 Years Experience
- Manufacturing Experience is an asset
