Job Description
Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the successful candidate will be a results-driven, self-starter who is always looking for opportunities for improvement, and has the ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
It is a
SEASONAL position from the end of March to the end of May.
Work location - Salisbury, NB
Responsibilities
- Operate the conveyor.
- Adjust equipment speeds and positions to improve the efficiency of the conveyor system and to make sure none of the materials get damaged on the ride.
- Bag, tie, and move the final product.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure the final product meets all specified requirements.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the mixing process.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
- Maintain warehouse and production area
- Work in production line using designated equipment as directed
- Prepare raw material for fertilizer mixing process
- Perform routine clean up and maintenance of the site.
- All other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 55lbs (25kgs).
- Availability to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast paced team environment.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working in manufacturing or farm/fertilizer operations would be considered an asset.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Able to speak and understand the English language proficiently.
