Studio 710 Architecture Ltd. is seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Technologist to join our dynamic team in Kamloops, BC. Our firm specializes in institutional, healthcare, and multifamily residential projects throughout British Columbia. With deep roots in the interior of BC, we are proud to be affiliated with Stites Consulting, a leading project management firm in Kamloops. We are looking for a professional with 2-10 years of industry experience who is passionate about architectural design, committed to enhancing the built environment, and eager to contribute to our growing portfolio of impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and project teams to develop architectural drawings and documentation
- Produce detailed technical drawings, models, and specifications for a variety of projects using Revit, AutoCAD, and Enscape
- Assist in the preparation of design presentations, renderings, and visualizations using Twinmotion and other software
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with codes and regulations
- Contribute to project development from concept to completion, including design development, construction documentation, and contract administration
- Conduct initial and construction field reviews to support project execution
- Maintain and organize project documentation and records
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Architectural Technology from an accredited university or institution
- 2-10 years of relevant experience in an architectural or design firm
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, Microsoft Suite, and Twinmotion
- Additional skills in Rhino3D, Grasshopper, and Dynamo considered an asset
- Strong understanding of BC Building Code, zoning bylaws, and construction standards
- Registration with ASTTBC or AIBC as a Building or Architectural Technologist is an asset
- Experience working on institutional, healthcare, and multifamily residential projects is preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Valid BC driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop solutions
- Knowledge of construction contracts is considered an asset
- Operates effectively as a team player, fostering a collaborative work environment
- Self-motivated problem solver with the ability to direct daily tasks independently

Salary range: $50,000 - $90,000 per year.
