Roles And Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, you will be a key player in achieving Transdev’s business objectives, providing key operational support to the West HR team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading process improvement activities related to internal function of the HR team;
- Leading the collection, analysis, and interpretation of datasets for use by HR team;
- Managing access to HR applications (eg, ADP, VidCruiter), acting as application owner for specified systems within the West HR team;
- Collaborating in the recruitment & talent acquisition process as requested by the Manager, Talent, by proactively sourcing and attracting candidates, conducting initial pre-screenings, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, and coordinating materials and activities for career fairs and community events;
- Prepare employee-life cycle documentation such as offer letters, contracts, and other transactions, managing changes to templates and guidelines;
- Providing support to the Human Resources Business Partner in the employee & labour relations process, including policy and collective agreement revision, the preparation of correspondences or letters, and attendance at investigations, grievances and/or dispute resolution meetings, taking detailed notes;
- Managing the HR team’s shared mailbox, ensuring timely responses, categorizing inquires, and escalating complex issues to appropriate team members for resolution;
- Leading HR projects and initiatives, supporting the implementation of Group, & national activities at a local level, ensuring alignment with required objectives and priorities, documenting progress and tracking activities to completion;
- Assist in gathering and consolidating materials for presentations;
- Contributing ideas and support to various other Human Resources projects as assigned.
Qualifications And Requirement
- Post-secondary education or certification in Human Resources;
- 2 to 3 years of experience at an HR Coordinator or Generalist level;
- Membership in professional association (CPHR) preferred;
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational abilities;
- Ability to be resourceful, proactive and anticipate needs;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and PowerPoint).
