Hi, I’m Aynsley from JENNY BIRD. I’m the Director of Partnerships and Events and we’re looking for Partnerships and Events Manager to join the team. The Opportunity:
In this role, you will support the Director, Partnerships and Events through strategic execution of brand building initiatives. You are perfect for this role if you consider yourself a strong communicator with an ability to adapt to change. The highly-cross functional role requires someone with excellent problem-solving skills that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Partnerships:
Support the execution of partnership opportunities to target like-minded customers from other brands into our community to help grow our customer base in both Canada and the US
Assist in bringing various elements of partnerships to life that may include coordination of gift with purchases, co-promotions, special co-design collaborations involving Jenny, sponsors for community events, trunk shows at retail partners, paid product placements and negotiation of discounts for the JB community
Evaluate partners that approach us and determine whether they are in alignment and if so, what level of engagement would make sense
Conduct due diligence on all current and potential partners to ensure our values align
Report on the success of all initiatives to partners and internal stakeholders following completion of project
Evaluate effectiveness of past partnerships and partner promotions and build the learnings into future plans
Events:
Working collaboratively across departments to develop and manage a strong events calendar focused on engaging with our community
Support the planning of events from concept through to completion. This includes but is not limited to ideation on event theme, setting objectives and success criteria, and ensuring that all events support the marketing strategy and key business objectives
Source and manage key vendors to bring events to market
Assist in the management of event budgets to ensure resources are used effectively and meet the brand’s requirements
Coordinate the production of any marketing materials and literature needed to support events
Analyze and review performance of events to understand levels of success, document learnings and ROI, and provide insightful recommendations for future activity
What you bring to the table:
3+ years of experience in event and partnerships role
You are passionate about events and want to deliver best in class experiences!
Proficiency in managing multiple projects within a fast-pace environment
Ability to coordinate amongst multiple departments and oversee events from conceptualization through to execution
Excellent judgment and proven event experience demonstrating flawless execution, strong judgment and exceptional time and project management.
