Marketing at REW.
Our key marketing channels include REW’s proprietary content stack ‘The Guide’, which offers an original and integrated real estate content experience that compliments the REW.ca home search platform. We are also growing our reach through social media, newsletters, partnerships, syndication and paid media.
In 2025, we’re expanding our marketing activities, inviting new audiences to join the Canadian real estate conversation and build their confidence for their home search journey.
What success looks like.
- A clear marketing calendar that allows REW to reach key audiences through quality content, efficient paid media and effective partnerships
- On-going growth in key target areas, including site traffic, off platform reach and email subscribers
- A test-and-learn approach to marketing channels that allows us to focus our content production efforts
Key Responsibilities.
- Marketing calendar - You understand how and when to reach REW’s target audiences through key channels. You’ll partner with REW’s senior copywriter to plan content and ensure marketing activity is having a direct impact on audience growth
- Paid media - You’ll manage REW’s day-to-day paid media campaigns, taking an always on approach alongside larger campaign moments. Expertise in buying digital advertising on platforms such as Google and Meta is a must. Experience buying inventory directly with media owners is also essential
- Email and social marketing - You know what makes social communities tick and you’ll be in charge of improving REW’s social channels health through interaction and killer content. On the email side, you’ll develop a test-and-learn approach to understand how to increase open and click rates
- Team mentorship - As a senior member of the team, you’ll know how to motivate and develop colleagues, and you’ll support junior team members in managing their workload and priorities
- Reporting - Alongside the marketing director, you’ll develop and share reports that clearly show the marketing team’s impact on the business. You’re comfortable presenting reports to senior leaders and explaining tactics, wins and challenges
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 5 - 10 years experience in a marketing role, including at least 1-2 in a management position. Experience in real estate is desirable but not essential
- Excellent writing skills with close attention to detail and great taste
- Extremely organized with plenty of initiative. The ability to understand and explain marketing performance data is essential
- Clear understanding of marketing on social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Reddit
- Experience with email marketing tools and an understanding of A/B testing
- Expertise in paid media buying, across digital platforms like Google and Meta, as well as directly with media owners
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
