Job Description:
The Head of Partnerships will play a pivotal role in expanding our mission to "Help Communities Help People" by driving strategic business development and relationship management with premier consulting and service partners who serve large state and municipal clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive partnership strategy for expanding our impact across community development technology platforms
Identify and cultivate partnerships that support relevant programs within The Department of Housing and Urban Development, Department of Energy, and FEMA
Develop comprehensive partnership strategies plans with consulting firms like KPMG, Accenture, IEM, TetraTech, and Guidehouse
Negotiate strategic collaboration and key pricing agreements that align with our purpose-driven approach
Represent Neighborly Software at industry conferences
Manage partnership pipeline with a focus on meaningful community impact
Collaborate across internal teams, including Sales, Product, and Client Operations to align partnership approaches with broader business strategy
Collaborate with partners to develop joint value propositions, co-marketing strategies, and go-to-market plans. Ensure partners have the resources, tools, and support needed to be successful.
Stay informed on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, using this knowledge to identify new partnership opportunities and innovate the partnership strategy.
Drive partnerships that contribute to the company’s revenue targets, ensuring that partnerships deliver ROI through co-selling, lead generation, joint marketing initiatives, and RFP responses (Quota assigned).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field from a leading university
10+ years of experience in government, government technology, and/or consulting (experience within HUD, Energy, and FEMA is a plus)
Proven success working at or with consulting firms, including but not limited to Accenture, IEM, EY, McKinsey, KPMG, TetraTech, Guidehouse, and Deloitte
Familiarity with state and local government software procurement processes
Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills
Demonstrated commitment to purpose-driven technology solutions
Strong network in government technology consulting ecosystem
