Job Title: Director of FP&A
Location: Hybrid (3 Days In-Office, 2 Days Remote)
Compensation: $180,000 - $200,000 Base Salary + Bonus

Our client, a private equity-backed portfolio company, is seeking a visionary Director of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis function and drive strategic initiatives. This is a pivotal leadership role for an experienced finance professional to shape financial strategies, deliver actionable insights, and influence decision-making within a high-growth organization.
Position Overview:
The Director of FP&A will oversee all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis. Working closely with the executive team, this leader will provide critical insights to drive profitability and operational efficiency. This position requires a seasoned FP&A professional with a strong background in private equity environments and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives and long-term goals.
- Performance Analysis: Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports, delivering insights on key business drivers to executive leadership and private equity stakeholders.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Oversee the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and operational plans.
- Scenario Planning: Perform advanced scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate potential outcomes of business decisions and market conditions.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance FP&A processes, tools, and reporting frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Private Equity Reporting: Collaborate with private equity stakeholders to provide detailed financial reporting and analyses, including dashboards and presentations highlighting key metrics and progress against goals.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with accounting, operations, and other departments to align financial planning with overall business strategy and operational objectives.
- M&A Support: Provide financial insights and due diligence for potential acquisitions, as well as integration planning for new portfolio companies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive FP&A or financial leadership experience, with a minimum of 3+ years in a senior or director-level role.
- Demonstrated success in private equity-backed or high-growth environments.
- Advanced expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis.
- Proficiency in financial planning systems (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Hyperion) and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial insights to executives and private equity stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in hybrid work environments.
