Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join EF. In this role, you will take on a key position in pricing analysis, financial reporting, and project-based analytics, leveraging strong technical skills. You will play an integral role in driving pricing strategy with an innovative approach, collaborating cross-functionally with various teams, and continuously enhancing your technical and analytical skills. Responsibilities:
Pricing Analysis:
- Analyze price in relation to profitability and recommend price changes based on trending costs to produce tour packages and additional services.
- Collaborate with the product development team to craft innovative pricing strategies that ensure we deliver the highest quality products at the most competitive prices.
- Conduct competitive analysis to inform pricing decisions and evaluate competitiveness in the market.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to produce pricing analysis and ad-hoc prices for one off experiences – to meet the needs of our customers.
Financial Planning and Analysis Reporting:
- Support in prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Support in collaborating with department heads to develop and update financial forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities through financial analytics.
- Conduct financial analysis for various projects, including investment proposals, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI evaluations.
Project-Based Analysis:
- Perform ad-hoc analysis using SQL, excel and Power BI skills to support strategic decision making across the organization.
- Identify areas for process improvement and cost-saving initiatives based on project analysis and findings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Technical skill in SQL, Power BI (or another reporting platform) and Microsoft Excel.
Experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry is a plus.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.
Experience in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis tools.
Experience in pricing analysis and understanding of revenue management principles is highly desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business requirements.
